Violet Noir and the thrill of the UWA lens
This was our third shoot with Violet Noir and our second with her that week. Violet is a good sport and our sudden unscheduled relocation downstairs about half an hour into the shoot didn’t faze her at all.
As well as some pin-uppy shots we were shooting some jewellery by Device Delinquents. The stuff is candy themed and Violet had lots of ideas for how to incorporate this into the shoot.
During a shoot, I look forward to the moment I can strap on the Ultra Wide Angle (UWA) lens and take some crazy perspective-bending shots. I love the beauty stuff and find it hard to take off the glorious 85mm lens, but it’s nice to know the “real” pictures are in the bag and you can go to work on some barmier stuff. So here’s a “real” picture and a barmy UWA one.
